The Edo State House of Assembly has approved the construction of a home worth N200 million for former governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
The Assembly also approved a house worth N100 million for Oshiomhole's deputy, Dr. Pius Odubu after amending the 2007 Pension Rights of the Governor and Deputy Governor Law to make provision for the project.
The move has angered many Nigerians who believe it is insensitive to approve such an expense during a recession.
